Our Sunday morning worship service reflects both the richness
of our Methodist tradition and our desire to
be open to the Holy Spirit. We strive
for the "warmth and dignity" John Wesley thought essential to worship.
We seek to blend traditional and contemporary
worship forms so that people of all backgrounds and
generations can experience the
presence and power of God in their lives.
Our worship service is
designed so all ages feel welcome and part of our service.
 |
Youth and children have an important place in our family
worship services. A children's message is offered
each week. Youth regularly
contribute to worship services and events. Nursery care is offered for infants
through kindergarten-aged children during the worship service. |
We have five groups of music ministry in our church
to enhance our worship.
Celebration Choir:
The Celebration Choir leads musical worship during each Sunday service. Rehearsal is
every
Wednesday at 7 p.m. (mid-August through mid-June).
Anyone from 7th grade and older is invited to join.
No
experience necessary.
A desire to make a joyful noise is all that is required.

Joy Makers Choir:
The Joy Makers Choir involves children
from age 4 through 6th grade.
They rehearse each
Wednesday during the school year. They perform several
times throughout the year. |
|
Praise Team:
Our
Praise Team opens each worship service with upbeat praise and
worship music.
They rehearse each Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
year round.

The Crossmen:
A group of talented men
(and one lady piano virtuoso) from PUMC came together to form a gospel
quartet. In addition to blessing our congregation with awesome four-part
harmony, the Crossmen are
often invited to share their talents and testimony at area churches and concerts. |
4 Heaven's Sake:
Not to be outdone, a group of talented Ladies (and one male piano
virtuoso)
form our ladies quartet. 4 Heaven's Sake regularly blesses
us with melodious
harmonies and are also often asked to share their talents and testimony around
and about. |
 |
Acolytes:
Children from Kindergarten through 6th grade contribute an active part in
worship as Acolytes who
symbolically bring in the "Light Of The World" for each
service.
Welcome
Team:
Greeters & Ushers are always happy
to welcome and assist as needed all who enter our doors for
worship.
